This option is strongly recommended for installations where the unit and its built-in display/control panel is not visible within the wine cellar. This panel will allow you to monitor and adjust unit settings from the location of your choice and is hard-wired to the unit (10 feet of wiring included – please contact us after ordering if you require extra wiring length)

Add this option if ducting the hot side of the unit to another space but you will provide your own ducting material (note: if ducting fresh air intake from outdoors, add the compressor heater/compressor heater + fan cycling switch option as well). Maximum 25 ft of ducting for each run.

This option is strongly recommended for the most accurate temperature measurement and is absolutely necessary when the unit is ducted into the cellar. The probe can either measure air temperature or liquid temperature inside a bottle. The probe end will cork a wine bottle to blend into your cellar. This item comes with 10 feet of cord.

Add this option if ducting the cold side of the unit from an adjacent space but you will provide your own 8" insulated ducting material. Maximum 25ft of ducting for each run. Ducting hood adds 9" in height to the front of the unit. Hoods are insulated and suitable for high humidity environments.

Please note that these filters were not designed for marine exposure (within 5 miles of the ocean). In these environments, you will need an applied coating, such as Insitu®, to protect against corrosion that is common in coastal regions.

 IMPORTANT: Please be sure to review the add-on options above to confirm you have all accessories necessary for your particular installation. Many are factory-installed and difficult to accommodate as a separate purchase/installation.

The CellarPro 6200VSi-ECX Cooling Unit is a self-contained, 3/4-ton refrigeration system engineered to provide maximum cooling power and adjustable humidity control for cellars up to 1,900 cubic feet. Built with high-output Tecumseh rotary compressors and oversized coils, it delivers exceptional performance even in high-temperature environments up to 110°F. This updated model now features energy-efficient variable-speed EC fans with a low setting for quieter operation.

An in-built condensate management system limits the necessity to connect to a drain line. Audible and visual alarms alert you to maintenance and operation issues, providing peace of mind that your wine collection is properly protected.

This unit is designed for through-the-wall installation but can also be remotely located and ducted to/from the cellar (front or rear) using specialized cold-side or hot-side duct hoods and kits. This model is intended for indoor installation. If you wish to install through an exterior wall, please choose the CellarPro 6200VSx.

All air-cooled wine cellar cooling units require fresh air intake to dissipate the heat generated by the cooling unit. The fresh air intake CANNOT come from the wine cellar space - it must come from space outside the wine cellar. Venting of the warm air produced by the cooling unit should also be to a large, well-ventilated area to avoid heat build-up.

Shipping Information

Orders of this item are typically shipped anywhere from 3 - 10 business days from the date of order. If you would like a more specific estimate, please contact us.

Smaller refrigeration units will be shipped by common carrier such as Fedex or UPS. Larger refrigeration units or systems will be shipped on a pallet via an LTL freight carrier and delivered curbside with a power tailgate. Shipping may take anywhere from 1 - 2 weeks, depending on your location.

Warranty Details

This product is warrantied by Cellar Pro Cooling Systems.

For five years from the date of purchase, your CellarPro warranty covers the internal compressor if it proves to be defective in materials or workmanship. In addition, for two years from the date of purchase, your CellarPro warranty covers all parts and labor to repair or replace any components in the wine cooling unit that prove to be defective in materials or workmanship.

For all products covered by the terms of this warranty, CellarPro will repair or replace the original cooling unit with a new or refurbished cooling unit and, once replaced, the original cooling unit must be returned to CellarPro.

All service provided by CellarPro under the above warranty must be performed by CellarPro or a designated repair facility unless otherwise specified by CellarPro. Purchaser is responsible for shipping the wine cooling unit to and from CellarPro or to and from a designated repair facility, and for removing and reinstalling the wine cooling unit from the wine cellar.

The limited warranty applies only to wine cooling units purchased from the factory or an authorized dealer. Damage caused by others or by any cause beyond the control of CellarPro, shall not be considered defects in material or workmanship and are not covered by the warranty. The limited warranty does not cover any parts or labor to correct any defect caused by negligence, commercial use, accident or improper use, maintenance, installation, service or repair.

THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED ABOVE FOR EACH WARRANTY ARE THE ONLY ONES, WHICH CELLARPRO WILL PROVIDE, EITHER UNDER THESE WARRANTIES OR UNDER ANY WARRANTY ARISING BY OPERATION OF LAW. CELLARPRO WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE BREACH OF THESE WARRANTIES OR ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other legal rights, which vary from state to state.

Configuration Options

  • Installation Options: Self-enclosed, fully charged units built for standard through-the-wall setups.
  • Remote Front Ducting: Can be placed away from the cellar using a 10-inch front duct package (with or without insulated flex ducting, configured for low or high humidity conditions) to route air up to 50 equivalent feet.
  • Ducting Adjustments: Count each 90-degree turn as 8 equivalent feet during planning.
  • Remote Display: An optional wired remote control kit lets you mount the digital screen inside or outside the cellar for hard-to-reach setups.
  • Rear Airflow Need: Units need fresh air intake at the back. A rear duct kit is required if the space lacks sufficient airflow behind the unit.
  • In-Cellar Setup: Can be placed completely inside the cellar by adding a rear duct kit, which channels exhaust and return air up to 100 total equivalent feet (50 feet per duct).
  • Cold Environment Settings: Requires a Compressor Heater (P/N 1727) below 40°F. For temperatures from 20°F down to -20°F, pair it with a Fan-Cycling Switch (P/N 6972).
  • Freezing Restriction: The front face of the unit must never experience temperatures under 32°F.
  • Operating Position: Must always run in a vertical, upright position; never operate it upside down or on its side.
  • Shipping Method: Delivered strapped to a pallet via common carrier with standard curbside drop-off. Inside delivery carries an extra charge.
