This option is strongly recommended for installations where the unit and its built-in display/control panel is not visible within the wine cellar. This panel will allow you to monitor and adjust unit settings from the location of your choice and is hard-wired to the unit (10 feet of wiring included – please contact us after ordering if you require extra wiring length)

Add this option if the unit's fresh air intake will be below 20°F.

This option is strongly recommended for the most accurate temperature measurement and is absolutely necessary when the unit is ducted into the cellar. The probe can either measure air temperature or liquid temperature inside a bottle. The probe end will cork a wine bottle to blend into your cellar. This item comes with 10 feet of cord.

Add this option if ducting the cold side of the unit from an adjacent space but you will provide your own 8" insulated ducting material. Maximum 25ft of ducting for each run. Ducting hood adds 9" in height to the front of the unit. Hoods are insulated and suitable for high humidity environments.

Add this option if ducting the cold side of the unit from an adjacent space and you’d like 2 x 25ft runs of insulated flexible ducting included.

Add this option and never order replacement filters again. This aluminum filter can be cleaned with steam or hot water. Please note that these filters were not designed for marine exposure (within 5 miles of the ocean). In these environments, you will need an applied coating, such as Insitu®, to protect against corrosion that is common in coastal regions.

The CellarPro 6200VSx-ECX Cooling Unit is a self-contained, 3/4 ton outdoor wine cellar cooling unit designed for external wall installations. Engineerd with high-output Tecumseh rotary compressors and oversized coils, it delivers maximum cooling power and adjustable humidity control for cellars up to 1,900 cubic feet, operating effectively in high-temperature environments up to 110°F.

Equipped with energy-efficient EC fans and a variable-speed evaporator fan, it offers a low setting for quieter operation when conditions permit. Built for outdoor durability, this unit features an exterior weather hood, cold-temperature compressor heater, coated condenser coils, double-powdercoated exterior case, reusable aluminum filter, and an exterior-grade power cord.

Fresh air intake for heat dissipation must be pulled from outside the cellar. The unit can be installed through a cellar wall or remotely located and ducted to/from the cellar using a cold-side duct hood. For interior wall installations, consider the CellarPro 6200VSi.

Shipping Information

Orders of this item are typically shipped anywhere from 3 - 10 business days from the date of order. If you would like a more specific estimate, please contact us.

Smaller refrigeration units will be shipped by common carrier such as Fedex or UPS. Larger refrigeration units or systems will be shipped on a pallet via an LTL freight carrier and delivered curbside with a power tailgate. Shipping may take anywhere from 1 - 2 weeks, depending on your location.

Canadian Customers: This US-made item may be subject to a new 15% Canadian tariff. As the tariff has not yet taken effect and the situation remains fluid, we are not collecting it at checkout. If applicable at the time of shipment, the tariff will be confirmed and charged before your order ships.

Warranty Details

This product is warrantied by Cellar Pro Cooling Systems.

For five years from the date of purchase, your CellarPro warranty covers the internal compressor if it proves to be defective in materials or workmanship. In addition, for two years from the date of purchase, your CellarPro warranty covers all parts and labor to repair or replace any components in the wine cooling unit that prove to be defective in materials or workmanship.

For all products covered by the terms of this warranty, CellarPro will repair or replace the original cooling unit with a new or refurbished cooling unit and, once replaced, the original cooling unit must be returned to CellarPro.

All service provided by CellarPro under the above warranty must be performed by CellarPro or a designated repair facility unless otherwise specified by CellarPro. Purchaser is responsible for shipping the wine cooling unit to and from CellarPro or to and from a designated repair facility, and for removing and reinstalling the wine cooling unit from the wine cellar.

The limited warranty applies only to wine cooling units purchased from the factory or an authorized dealer. Damage caused by others or by any cause beyond the control of CellarPro, shall not be considered defects in material or workmanship and are not covered by the warranty. The limited warranty does not cover any parts or labor to correct any defect caused by negligence, commercial use, accident or improper use, maintenance, installation, service or repair.

THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED ABOVE FOR EACH WARRANTY ARE THE ONLY ONES, WHICH CELLARPRO WILL PROVIDE, EITHER UNDER THESE WARRANTIES OR UNDER ANY WARRANTY ARISING BY OPERATION OF LAW. CELLARPRO WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE BREACH OF THESE WARRANTIES OR ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other legal rights, which vary from state to state.

CellarPro 6200VSx cooling units are self-contained and fully charged, designed specifically to be installed through an external wall.

6200VSx units can be located remotely from the cellar with the addition of a cold-side (front) ducting package. Offered with or without insulated flex ducting, these front duct packages allow the cooling unit to be ducted up to 50 equivalent feet away from the cellar using 10-inch ducting.

Note: The rear (hot side) of the VSx unit cannot be ducted and must pull fresh air directly from the outside environment. If you need hot-side rear ducting through an interior space, please choose the CellarPro 6200VSi model.

When calculating equivalent feet, each 90-degree turn is equal to 8 linear feet.

For remote or inaccessible installations, a remote control display kit is available to mount the digital display inside or outside the cellar.

6200VSx units require fresh air intake at the rear of the unit and are engineered to operate in shaded environments ranging from 20°F to 110°F. For operating temperatures below 20°F (down to -20°F), a Fan-Cycling Switch (P/N 6972) must be added.

The front of the cooling unit should never be exposed to temperatures below 32°F. This unit must always be installed and operated in an upright position.
